The following upgrades are available for the Black Belt Shear:
Automatic Dry Spot Divert
7991148 - Corrugator stop for any reason will start a timer which is settable in the PLC. If set time is exceeded before the Double Backer starts motion, the segment of board between the glue applicator roll and the hot plate section at time of stop will be automatically diverted at the Shear.
Black BeltT Allen Bradley SLC 500 Basic and Deluxe Upgrade
7993810 & 7993811 - These upgrades replace the 5TI or Koyo PLC, as well as the Shear Control Card. They include PLC, I/O, software, drawings, manuals and instructions.
Black BeltT Rotary Shear Caliper Blade Penetration Adjuster and Belt Life Enhancer
7993460 - Improved cylinder bearing for improved cut caliper setup and belt life. Hardware to manually adjust shim for cut caliper.

5TI PLC Upgrade
7991286 - PLC Upgrade to replace 5TI upgrade includes the following: Processor I/O base, and I/O; wire whips from new I/O base to existing terminals; new software, software documentation including TCAM list and I/O list; procedure for converting old TCAM settings to new; new panel layout, new I/O rack wiring, and a new controls schematic.

Hot Plate Scrap Divert
7991527 - Corrugator stop for any reason will start a timer which is settable in the PLC. If set time is exceeded before the Double Backer start motion, all board that had been in the hot plates while stopped will be automatically diverted at the Shear.
Infeed Web Support Pan
7990820 - Hardware to provide support across complete web width. For interface of Shear to new doublebacker.
Operator Training Program
7990536 - Consists of two video tapes and a workbook designed to give new operators the fundamental training needed to perform safe operating techniques for the MarquipWardUnited Black Belt Shear.
Remote Scrap Divert
7991147 - Wet end operator push-button selection of length of web to be diverted. When beginning of material to be diverted passes a user-defined reference point on wet end, operator depresses button. When good material again reaches reference point, operator depresses the button again. This segment of material is tracked through the Double Backer and diverted at the Shear.
Surge Suppressor
7993127 - Surge suppressor filters incoming power to protect machine components from electrical spikes and surges caused by lightning and power-up of other equipment on the same distribution line.
3-To-5 Diverter Belt Conversion
7990812 - Hardware to add an additional two diverter belts to the three existing diverter belts for enhance scrap divert performance.
