Latched Selectable Gain
7990546 - Modifications to Tension Controls System to enhance performance for use with butt rolls. Gain is compensated, based up roll size selected (small/medium/large). Includes updated tension control card.

Light Weight Paper Splicing
7993105 - NOTE: Use 7993106 if 7.5 HP capstan is required. Mechanical and pneumatic components allow clamp bar to gently ease into contact with paper web thus reducing clamp bar impact on light weight papers. Gently decelerates and stops running web at time of splice. NOTE: Available on Models I, IM, IH300, and IH400 PLC version Splicers. Soft Start upgrade (7991292) for run speeds above 150 MPM (500 FPM) is recommended. IH300 and IH400 may require 7.5 HP capstan motor.

Liner/Medium Combination Kit
7990556 - Additional idler roll to allow paper flow to be reversed.

Manuals
7990330 - Additional operator and maintenance manuals.

Model IS to IMS UPgrade
7990293 - Upgrade of Splicer with manual brake control, capable of 90 MPM (300 FPM) operation, to auto brake control Splicer, capable of 150 MPM (500 FPM) splicing speed.

Model IS to I with DTC Upgrade
7990294 - Upgrade of Splicer with manual brake control, capable of 90 MPM (300 FPM) operation to auto Digital Tension Control (DTC), capable of 200 MPM (650 FPM) splicing speed.

Model II Automatic to Manual Prep Bar Roll Stand
7990626 - Includes hardware to convert automatic splice preparation bars to manual splice preparation bars on Roll Stands.

Optical Splice Initiation System
7990554 - Optical splice hardware for TailgrabberT application.

Pneumatic Brake Controller
7990553 - Includes pneumatic brake controller to replace existing electrical brake controller required when customer replaces electric brakes with pneumatic brakes.

PLC to DTC
7993478 - Replaces the existing analog web tension control with Digital Tension Control (DTC). Includes replacement of PLC, DTC panel, operator touch-screen console an manuals. For Model I and IM Splicers previously upgraded to PLC or Model I and IM TI PLC Splicers. Roll-out Roll Stands will require silver slip ring cable reels (7990541).

Relay to Digital Controls Conversion for Splicers
7993476 - Replaces the original logic control system with a PLC controller and Digital Tension Control (DTC). Includes replacement PLC w/DTC panel, operator touch-screen console and manuals. For model I and IM Splicers only. Roll-out Roll Stands will require silver slip ring cable reels.
